Movie Cash Thread FAQ's
Hollywood Movie Money official FAQ: https://www.activaterewards.com/hmm/faq Hollywood Movie Money participating theater locator: http://www.hollywoodmoviemoney.com/ e-Movie Cash official FAQ: http://emoviecash.com/tpg/faq.html e-Movie Cash Participating theater locator: http://emoviecash.com/locator/ Fandango Customer Service: http://fandango.custhelp.com/app/ask (email or live chat) or call 866-857-5191 Frequently Asked Questions: Can I use Movie Money on any movie I want, or only for the one listed? Fandango Cash can only be used for the specified movie (if specified). The system will not accept it for a different film. Hollywood Movie Money and e-Movie Cash technically are only good for the specified film, however since they are entered as credit card payments, it is possible for a theater to accept them for a different film. It is up to the cashier or manager at the theater as to whether or not they will allow it. Completely YMMV. If you cannot purchase a ticket for the movie you want, you can always just buy the correct ticket, then go to the counter and tell them you changed your mind and want to exchange your ticket for another movie. Most theaters won't give you any problems. My voucher states it is not valid for 3D or IMAX screenings. Can I still use it on those if the voucher is enough to cover the ticket? Just like the previous answer, yes it is possible with Hollywood Movie Money and e-Movie Cash, however it is up to the theater. Can I use one Movie Cash voucher to cover more than one lesser-priced tickets (like a $12 voucher for two $6 tickets), or multiple vouchers toward a more expensive ticket (like two $8 certificates to cover a $16 ticket)? Fandango Cash only allows one redemption per ticket, so neither scenario works on Fandango. Hollywood Movie Money and e-Movie Cash it is YMMV. As they are entered as credit card payments, it is possible for a theater to just look at them as monetary value and ignore the number of tickets. However, it is up to the theater as to whether or not they will allow it. Why won't my code work? Fandango codes are notorious for having similar looking digits. If you get an invalid code message, try out different adjustments - 0/O, 6/G, 8/B, K/H, 5/S, U/V, 2/Z, etc. Also, with some promotions, you first have to "validate" the code, and then when making your purchase you need to enter it again (so don't lose the code after you've just validated it!). In the case of Hollywood Movie Money, they have a few tips as to which digits they do NOT use: •The codes do not include '0' or 'O', so this character might be a 'D' or 'C' •The codes do not include 'Z', so this character might be a '2' •The codes do not include 'S', so this character might be a '5' •The codes do not include 'B', so this character might be an '8' or 'E' What if my voucher is less than the ticket price? You simply pay the difference with some other form of payment. What if my voucher is for more than the ticket price? You forfeit the difference. You do not get any money back or retain any future credit from unused funds on a certificate. Will all copies of a blu-ray/DVD have the movie cash for a given promotion? NO. Only copies with a sticker advertising the promotion will have the movie money code included. When ordering titles online, there is no guarantee a disc will contain the movie money unless the listing specifically mentions it. The exception is promotions redeemed through Disney Movie Rewards, where any copy of a listed title will work, as it just uses the DMR code for the offer redemption. Some promotions are exclusive to specific retailers, while others are widely available. We try to keep the OP updated with any stores known to carry participating titles. Is there a limit to how many times I can redeem for a particular offer? In most cases, there is no limit. On rare occasions, a promotion does have a limit. If it does, it will be clearly stated on that promotion's sticker and/or website. Can I use my voucher at any theater? No. Only participating theaters and chains accept movie cash vouchers. You can check for partipating theaters here for Hollywood Movie Money, and here for e-Movie Cash. Fandango Cash works with any theater that sells tickets through Fandango. Do I have to use my movie cash at the theater I selected during the redemption process? No. It will still work at any participating theater. How can I help with this thread? The best thing you can do is keep your eyes open and tell us what you find. If you see a promotion not listed, participating discs not listed, or a participating store not listed, post it! Also if you can help fill in missing information such as $ amounts, redemption url's, or expiration dates, let us know! Can I use a voucher after the expiration date? No. The vouchers will not work beyond the listed expiration date. I won't be able to use my movie cash. What should I do with it? Send it via PM to cinemaphile. He is always in need of movie cash for himself and his family to attend a movie, and you would have his eternal gratitude.

I believe both do, it's just a sticker on the outside of the package, so should be easy to spot. Remember the Captain America code is printed on the back of the sticker so don't toss it on accident thinking there is something in the case.

for the Hollywood movie Cash, do I need to print it out or can I just give them 16 digit code? My printer ran out of ink and X-men movie cash expires tomorrow.

You have to print it. You can easily crop out the extra crap. No need for a whole poster on your pass. Those thing waste a ton of ink.

as for printing out the certificates, the artwork and stuff on those is ridiculous. I just scroll down to the bottom where the actual certificate is, and when I print I select "current view" and it doesn't print any of the images and crap up above.

Couldn't find a posting for this. Free movie cash or concession cash with the purchase of certain blu-ray and DVD's on Amazon. There are a few that the movie costs less than what you get in movie cash.

When I was at best buy today they had a sign for Cowboys & Aliens movie cash and I don't remember the titles other than The Thing, but none of the movies had the movie cash sticker yet, so I don't know when they're gonna roll 'em out.
