Same features as earlier releases? Or more extensive?

Well the digibook only had one disc, so I'd say 3 discs sounds a bit more extensive. This is Warner's second digibook to be discontinued and re-released in a UCE, and unfortunately I already bought this one. Will I double-dip? Just maybe, 'cause I love this movie.

So if one of the discs is the films Sountrack and or Sampler perhaps? the the other disc could very well be a DVD copy. I am still betting BLU is the same previously issued disc.

So, the damned movie only disc is no longer available? I hate how Warner does things sometimes.

The BD might be the same, but the Cuckoo's Nest UCE BD was different than the one in the digibook, so we'll have to wait and see.

The movie only version is still available, just not in the digibook.

This is going to depress the guys on Amazon trying to sell new copies of the Digibook for $59.42 and $48.84 for the standard version. Amazon Leeches....

Nice, but I've already got the Digibook; I won't need to double-dip.

Both versions in the US are OOP you can tell by the price points from the third party sellers.

Huh, my mistake. I'm really surprised to see a SKU released less than a year ago already OOP that isn't some special edition release. That is rather unsavory on Warner's part to take away a consumer's cheaper option.

Think I'll just stick with the digibook edition I have. I read that the audio commentary has the same info as the Pure Imagination book.
"If we're about to die anyways, I'd rather die fighting! Come for me Gmork, I am Atreyu!"

"And use some of that cologne Gertrude got you for Christmas."
"Oh do I have to Mother, it smells like ether?"

" I told you 158 times I hate little notes on my pillow. 'We are all out of Corn Flakes F.U.' it took me three hours to realize that F.U. stood for Felix Ungar."

I'm sure this set will be really nice, but I already own the version in the standard plastic Blu-ray case and I'm perfectly happy with it. I don't need all the extra stuff.

I've already got the digibook release and the Pure Imagination book (which is less than $2 used at Amazon). And, because I'm not an 8-year-old girl, I don't need scented pencils. I think I'm skipping this one.

Per the Digital Bits earlier today. (I'm too exhausted to start new threads haha

And Warner Home Video has officially set Pee-wee's Big Adventure and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - both Tim Burton films - for Blu-ray Disc release on 10/4 (SRP $19.98 each). Pee-wee will include commentary by Paul Reubens and Tim Burton, additional scenes, production sketches and storyboards, a music-only track with commentary by Danny Elfman and the theatrical trailer. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will include an In-Movie Experience viewing option with Tim Burton, audio commentary by Tim Burton, 8 featurettes (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: Chocolate Dreams, Different Faces, Different Flavors, Designer Chocolate, Under the Wrapper, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: Sweet Sounds, Becoming Oompa-Loompa, Attack of the Squirrels and Fantastic Mr. Dahl), 2 previsualizations (Augustus Gloop dance and Mike Teavee dance), a Dolby TrueHD music-only track, the European club reel and the theatrical trailer.
