Zonadvd is reporting that the film is coming from Paramount!

Should be released at the same time here stateside, considering the re-make is coming out this year as well.

I have never seen this movie even though it's a classic. Is it worth a purchase? BTW i love the song so i don't know why i never saw the movie.

Nice. Both Footloose and Beverly Hills Cop in May from Paramount, nice to see them getting some of their 80's big guns out. I'd love to see Flashdance and a reissue of Fatal Attraction as well (why did that one go OOP anyways?)

Two things:

1) Highly doubtful anyone under the age of....oh say 40 would be interested in Footloose.

2) Was the porn link for a blu-ray version? If so, then it could be considered thread relevant ;-)

My teen girls LOVE Footloose and no, it wasn' for a bluray.

I am under the age of 40 (though I am over 18) and love Footloose. Don't make assumptions.

I agree. I am 31 and LOVE Footloose and the soundtrack.

Plus, I used to work retail in my early 20's and you have no idea how popular Footloose is with teenage girls who'd come in and buy the soundtrack and/or DVD, it's with Dirty Dancing and Grease in popularity amongst that demographic.
