Awesome, though I'd love a box set around the same time.

EDIT: Wow, didn't realize how soon this was!

I haven't seen this since I was a kid. I will def. give it a rental before I buy it. I did like the series when I saw it though.

Excellent news indeed.
But the first BD from Full Moon was so mediocre (Puppet Master : Axis of Evil) that I fear this one shall be more or less of the same.

No tech specs on sight, as well...
All this, and Blu ray too.

Definetly wait for reviews because their first bluray was messed up when it first released. Plus, best to wait for a sale because this is going to be about $30 on their site.

Hey:

The first run of the 5.1 sound edition of "Puppet Master" all went bad. You might want to check yours and if they don't work go to http://www.Fullmoondirect.com to get a replacement.

Hopefully they learned from the first release and make this one better. He said on the site that it looks amazing but I am hopeful.

Hopefully it doesn't have the DNR and compression issues PUPPET MASTER has.

Default Aspect Ratio

The reason there is some missing on the top but more info at the sides is because the film was originally shot in 1.37 aspect ratio. When it was released to VHS and DVD, it was cropped at the sides a little bit to get a 1.33aspect considering that's your typical "full frame" size. However, when they restored the movie for this Blu-ray, they got the original negative, which is 1.37, and cropped it to 16x9, so you're getting a little more at the sides but less at the top. The original print they're showing in the preview is just a 1.33print.

If they wanted to do this right, they would release a full 1.37 ratio without cropping to the top. But I don't know, 16x9 might be the director intended aspect ratio but when it was first released, it was open-matte.
