Default TrollHunter - US Release

http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/TrollH...Blu-ray/24417/

Looks pretty sweet, decided to blind buy this when the pre-order price dropped to $14.99.

Anyone seen it yet, thoughts?

Definitely worth a blind buy.
The best way I can describe this film is Cloverfield with a smaller budget and less shaky camera direction. I loved it, however, there are times you really gotta suspend disbelief, but the payoff for the final act is worth it. I enjoyed (pretty much) all of the characters. I'll buy this for sure.

The biggest suspension of disbelief moment for me was (spoiler):

[Show spoiler]When the hunter was grabbed by the Troll on the bridge and slammed to the ground. That looked like straight up claymation. hahaha.

But still, all of the characters did a great job making me believe that the trolls were a threat. Oh screw it, i'm going to preorder this beyatch right now.

This movie would be awesome if it was about a guy who tracked down internet trolls and hunted them.

I love me some amazon points! Pretty much put all my life spending on my card so I can use the points for blu-rays.

Just curious, have you seen the [REC] films? I've shown them to people who weren't originally fans of the found footage subgenre and they soon became fans as a result. Any ways, Trollhunter was solid and I thought it was better than most others of this ilk but it's not up to par as the [REC] films, IMO.

Not sure. It could very possibly be dubbed as the BD comes with an English dub track.
