Looking for some input , I have a DTR-50.2 and was thinking of going with a VSX-52 or 53

how come?

honestly don't think there will be an upgrade. but if you prefer the sound of the pioneer over the sound of the Integra, then thats really all that matters. The Integra is warmer so you may not like that softer sound vs the pioneer.
