Just thought I'd start up a thread on this since when I checked there wasn't one yet. Coming on Criterion blu-ray release. Includes a 55 minute film "Killer's Kiss" in the special features.
The Killing / Killer's Kiss Blu-ray The Killing / Killer's Kiss Blu-ray Review Looks good! From critically acclaimed director Stanley Kubrick. Anyone else looking forward to this?

Looking forward to this too...Still trying to finish up all the Kubrick movies that I got in the box set before this comes out. Still have to watch the Shining, Full Metal Jacket, and Eyes Wide Shut (don't worry I've seen all of them multiple times already).

My only decision is whether to keep my Amazon preorder or hold off until the next B&N sale.
But I'll definitely be picking it up one way or the other.

Yesterday, I got the email from deepdiscount saying that my order shipped out from California, and when I looked at my tracking today I saw that it's already here in Massachusetts. I expect that I'll have it in my hands tomorrow or Thursday.

Makes the recent lackluster catalog titles like The Big Lebowski and The Fox and the Hound look even more disappointing in comparison. Oh well, I'm glad that both titles got the treatment they deserve.
Blu-ray releases should be perfect representations of their cinema counterparts.

For those that don't frequent criterionforum.org, here are the packaging photos for The Killing.

Is that $1 savings really worth having no idea when DDD is going to deliver your product? The last time I ordered something from them it literally took a week to get a shipping notice and a month for the package to arrive.
