Na, i'm pretty happy with my lineup as it is, my free agent pick ups have all been pretty damn good as of late, especially Matt Read & Cody Hodgson

They will reevaluate him Tuesday he may be missing more then 2 games he has a broken finger or hand

hell miss at least 6 games by the time this is all over as Det is comfortably in first, its why I grabbed Conklin before I posted lol, right now hes rested and Det needs Howard for the playoffs. and no Det wont IR him your gonna be SOL man lol

One injury or two isn't that bad even if it's for a long period, especially with the addition of there IR spots this year. It's when it's 4-5 players all at once when it really hurts you.

I've had Crosby out the whole season pretty much, plus Sharp, Benn, Enstrom, and Kane all injured at some point.
Not too mention both Ovie and Marchand have been suspended for 3 and 5 games respectively.

Clearly Blitz and my team have sustained the most man games lost and we're both in the playoff picture too. You've had luck on you're side so far which has got you to top spot in the league.

But if where looking at raw scoring Schultzy should be leading the league, he just hasn't had as much luck as you've had so far.

IMO Pronger, Michalek, Reimer, and Pacioretty aren't star players and I'd drop then to if they were injured on my bench.
All my injuries this season have come to my star players who are undroppable. I'm sure if either Datsyuk, Kesler or Fleury went down you would understand.

Be reasonable I'm sure most people would agree that coming into the season Lupul was an average player at best that hadn't achieved the success that scouts figured he would after being drafted....and was projected to probably be a 40-50 point scorer at best.
I was basing my judgement on him from past results, whereas Gagne has always had the tools ... heck he was a 40 goal scorer back in the day with Philly and played for team Canada in the Olympics.
I figured since Gagne was getting a fresh start in LA playing alongside Kopitar he would rejuvenate his career and did play well for 1st month or so then he got injured.
Then go figure Lupul finds success in TO alongside Kessel, who would have figured it.
As for dropping Kane. Have you looked at the FA pickups available ... there isn't a lot to pick from. Kane is a young star who is emerging in the NHL and had 18 goals before he got hurt ... and sure he was struggling of late but the entire team was struggling. Plus he has more fantasy points then any of the FA pickups and he's missed a few weeks.

You're strategy of dumping players when they get hurt or start to struggle for a bit is unwise, you have to know that players get hurt and get in scoring slumps at times. If I had used your strategy I would have dumped Benn and Pavelski back in December when they were struggling.

By the way thanks for Marchand.... hate the way he plays but he's a great 7th forward in fantasy hockey.

Me being in 1st says my strategy is working for me.

If I hadn't dropped Marchand I wouldn't have picked up Lupul. Rather than thinking about the player I lost, I chose to think about the player I gained.

Anything can happen in the playoffs, I can lose in the 1st rd or win it all, but I have to make sure I make the playoffs first to even have a chance and if that means dropping players, so be it.
