D-blitz you shouldn't have dropped Nabakov. Depietro has a concussion and could be out for a long time.

Al is probably their #1 goalie. I was surprised it took so long before anyone picked him up. He played great last week.

I don't think so. Nabby is a great goalie and he could probably help them big time this year to get into the playoffs. They are this years tampa bay. Quote me on it!!!

Montoya started 3 straight games and Nabby played 1. Al leads the league in GAA and 3rd in SV%. My money is on Al

Tampa Bay had all the pieces in place to be a winner last year, they picked up Roloson, and they had great scoring depth (Bergenheim, Malone, Gagne, Lecavalier) to compliment Stamkos and St.Louis.

The Islanders on the other hand are still a few years away from being playoff bound, right now their scoring starts and ends with Tavares. If you look at the 4 games (all at home) they've played so far, the 1st line has provided the entire offense so far.....i mean the entire offense. After Moulson, Tavares, Parenteau, and Streit their next leading scorer has 1 pt.

The Islanders just don't have enough scoring depth to complete over the long haul.

psh, and dallas will never lose a game :P Nabby will take over if they want to make the playoffs.

I just think that the islanders will make the playoffs this year. If the 2nd line can get going they will be pretty well off.

Only if Grabner plays like last year or better and Niederreiter comes back and does really well. But I don't think they will make the playoffs.

typical October start for Lou. At the end of the season he'll have his usual 40+ wins though, the Canucks are just too good.
