Rurouni Kenshin: The Motion Picture Blu-ray

Bandai Entertainment will release Rurouni Kenshin: The Movie on Blu-ray this October. The full-length follow-up to the popular anime series, this film focuses on the conflict between Himura Kenshin and Shigure Takimi that erupts in the aftermath of the war against the Tokugawa Shogunate.

Bandai's Limited Edition Blu-ray presents the 100-minute-long Japanese version of the film, with 1080p video and both an English Dolby Digital dubbed track and a Japanese Linear PCM audio track (w/English subtitles). Bonus materials include the following:

Exclusive box and digipak art by Atsuko Nakajima
A separate booklet for the English translation

Rurouni Kenshin: The Movie is expected to street on October 26th.

I wonder how "limited" the "limited edition" is. I may have to snag it if isn't going to be made for long, it is a great show.

This is not a Bandai release. This is an Aniplex release imported from Japan and sold exclusively through The Right Stuf International or Bandai's online store (and will likely also be sold through Bandai's Amazon store as well). The only difference between this release and the Japanese release is the one sold here has an English translation of the booklet included (plus it is also cheaper to buy the US release than the Japanese release).

Trust & Betrayal has been released and Reflections is being released on Sept. 21.
