USA Pioneer Elite D3 vs ICE amplifer

Pioneer Elite is saying that there new class D3 amplifer found in the SC-57 and SC-55 are the most powerful home theater receiver currenlty on the market. But a lot of people here seem turned off by the fact that they are not using ICE amps anymore. I can't find any reviews online to back up what pioneer says about there new class d3 amplifer. I have heard people say that the ICE amps weren't good at powering low Impedencece speakers particular 4ohms. I am using 6ohms speakers which amplifer is the best for me the ICE amps in my sc-37 or the new class d3 in the sc-57 and sc-55

I haven't heard the new SC series yet but my SC37 was a HUGE upgrade from my onkyo 705. The ICE amps sound so sweet, warm, clean and powerful. Effortless performance. The higher you turn it up, the better it sounds. No clipping or distortion with these receivers

ICEpower amps do fine with 4ohm loads. There was a bit of controversy over this after an Audioholics review of the SC-07 a few years ago. It had some mixed results on the bench test under 4ohm loads, but in real world 4ohm use it worked just fine which they also mentioned in the review. Later ICEpower models were improved and have not failed in 4ohm bench testing. Also, keep in mind that any THX Ultra2 Plus certified receiver will be 4ohm stable. Still, the newer line is supposedly even better with low impedance loads.
