Gears of War 3 Blu Clan

Okay so we all know that Gears 3 is dropping soon. So I thought it would be cool if we could start a clan. There will be 4 player co op, horde mode, beast mode, and multiplayer we can get into. I'm only looking for dedicated players. I know a lot of games are coming out soon, and while I plan on buying most of them, I'll probably be playing Gears 3 until Gears 4 drops lol. So if ur interested, then this thread can be our homebase where we can discuss all things Gears 3. I'll have my copy at midnight, but I have to take a business trip from that Wednesday until Friday, but after that, it's on!

Okay guys... it's almost that time to get this clan started.

We'll be competing in the following:
Horde Mode
Beast Mode
MP
4 Player co op

We can arrange times to meet up to practice online because as you all know, the best clans use strategy and don't go "Rambo" all over the maps. Also, please note that the learning curve for this game is not as easy as other games... **cough, cough** Call of Duty lol. If you're new, you will die and die a lot. But don't be alarmed, this is all for fun and we'll be helping each other get better.

Gears Updates:
1. We'll need a clan name. I figure everyone can submit some suggestions and then we can vote on it.
2. We'll need to decide when everyone wants to start MP/horde etc. I know some of you haven't played in awhile and you want to get the hang of it again. Or some of you, like me, want to beat single player first.
3. Please submit your time zone and I'll place it next to your gamertag. That way we can get an idea of when some of you will be online.
4. Please feel free to give any other updates in the comments section, and I'll add them as we go along.
5. Also, lets try to keep this clan for Blu Ray forum members only. That way all communication is done in this thread. If you know any other forum members who're interested, please let them know. I'm all for growing the community.

Good idea. Count me in. I've been playing GoW 2 to brush up on my skills. I missed the Beta but I've heard good things about Gears 3 which have raised my expectations.

The beta was a beast! People played it like it was the actual game, so I know the official release is gonna be solid. I'll add you tonight when I get online.

Yep 9.4 w/l ratio and like 3.4-4 kdr

Hopefully I can play a ton while working 40 a week , my plan to sleep after work play all night and repeat.

Yes if they left it like the beta its close enough to gears1 that I will log some serious hours.

I just hope it isn't so good that I do what I did in gears1 where I neglected one of the greatest games ever in its prime (cod4) , because I will neglect bf3, mw3, resistance for this if it's that good

I'm insanely pumped to begin playing. I've already informed my better half that I will most likely be logging some ridiculous time on this game. I'm sure she will be fine as long as I buy her something. I still have to pre-order my other four games from BBY. Most likely Batman Arkham City, Uncharted 3, BF3 and MW3. But if Gears 3 meets or exceeds my expectations it's going to monoplize my time!

Those are the same games on my radar. Also NBA 2k12 and Rage. But I'll be on Gears almost everyday, just like Gears 2. I won't be online tonight, because footballs starting, but I'll be on all weekend trying to get my wings lol.

On another note, I was only able to lvl up to 83 over the weekend because I was lagging like crazy. I don't know what was going on because that's never really happened to me.
