Default Lucky McKee's "May" (2002)

Does anyone else remember this disturbing movie?

It was about a young woman who redefined the term "socially awkward" as she slowly became obsessed with the few people in her life with whom she shared a connection.

I won't go into any further plot details for fear of spoiling a seriously eerie and freakish film, but I will say that I hope May brings her crazy ass on over to blu-ray at some point in the future.

...Anyone?

Edited to Add: I creeped myself out simply by reminding myself that this movie exists, so maybe I actually don't want it to ever come to BD, haha...

I know this is really late reply, but this movie used to be in my top favourites when I was in high school. I really hope they release a bluray version.

Definitely was a cool flick! Angela Bettis was awesome in it. She also did another Lucky Mckee film called Roman. I haven't seen it yet, but I bought it on one of those crappy multi-pack blu-rays just so I could see that one film.

Roman is not directed by Lucky McKee but rather Angela Bettis!
Angela is also in Lucky McKee's crappy film, The Woman.

Really enjoyed May - great horror film from back in the day; I remember seeing this in a small independent theater around 2003-ish.

IIRC, it also starred the guy who was in the first Wrong Turn film (another great horror flick from the early 200X's).

Would definitely be onboard for this on Blu...

Yeah, May is extrodanairy if a bit disturbing. Caught it by chance on TV and was very impressed with just howe human and cerebral it was. In many ways, it reminded me of Ginger Snaps.

That's right.. I forgot the roles were reversed for Roman (Angela/Lucky). I have yet to watch it. I bought The Woman as a blind-buy and honestly don't remember much about it now. Angela was also in the Toolbox Murders re-make.

Has anyone seen the HD release that's available on some digital platforms? I lost my DVD copy of this at some point, and was thinking about ordering the DVD on eBay, but noticed iTunes (as well as a few other sources) has it in HD, where I have some credit... The trailer available on iTunes is definitely not HD, but I'm not sure if that's indicative.

Diabolik is selling a blu ray / dvd (region free) combo of "May."

It's 39.99, but I almost jumped out of my shoes when I saw it.

8 copies are remaining over there. Could this release be a prelude to a region A release?
