Need to find a PC headset for under 100! - Blu-ray Forum

With Battlefield 3 coming out, it's really time for me to upgrade my old headset. I want something nice for around a $100 or under. If it's wireless, that's a bonus, but it's not absolutely necessary.

i have these:

creative fatality hs 1000 usb gaming headset

i love them. i've been accused too many times of cheating because of them. i always get questions like, "how did you know i was on the floor above you?!" or how did you know which door i was coming in?!" i tell them it's the headphones. then i get, "no headphones are THAT good."

i told them the ones i have are. they're usb, 5.1 and actually let me discern if someone is above or below me or exactly where they are in relation to me.

and the mic is detachable and on a flexible arm. the cord is plenty long and has inline volume and mic-mute buttons.

i paid almost $100 for mine, but i got them when they first came out. they're much cheaper now. if you can find them, they're much cheaper (usually less than $50). they don't make them anymore, but they can be found if you do a little searching.
