I picked up the original for 4.99 from the Best buy upgrade and save sale. Never seen the original, but for 5 bucks can't beat it. Never seen the remake either, I wanted too, just didn't get to the theaters.

yep, just got back from BB and picked the original up for $4.99 too

Terrible movie when compared to the original.
I imagine some people would like the Psycho remake if they had never seen the original.
Remakes are & s/b under more pressure to justify their existence. This one fails.
