Do those reviewers ever grade anything on half scale? I'm hoping the PQ is a 4.5 at least.

"But even some of these grain-lovers might be surprised by just how pervasive it becomes in some low-light scenes - especially those inside the control room when the lights have powered down, where it is so heavy it often obscures fine detailing altogether."

I hate when reviewers say crap like this, because it makes it sound like grain is some kind of layer of crap over the image you can just remove and yield a pristine picture. It is as nonsensical as saying that the pixels in a low-resolution picture "obscure" resolution. No, it's just not there.

thanks for the link! This is the Blu-ray I have been waiting for and wanting the most since I switched to Blu-ray over 4 years ago! I have even held off on watching the movies so that when I get the Blu-ray it will be like watching them for the first time again. Well except the original in which I have memorized backwards and forwards since I watched it soo many times as a kid

This is going to be AWESOME!!!

p.s. I have only changed my Avatar twice since I joined. First one was the original Jp logo and then when I found out about the Blu-ray release I put up the mock picture instantly

Yes, it's exactly the same. The movies were originally exclusive to the trilogy set, but were later released individually.

I can't watch a minute of The Lost World, it's so poor execution except dino in the city yeahhh... it's not a bad idea but i prefer the indiana jones look of the 3rd compared to this one. Plus, Sam Neill to me, is the main event playa of this franchise. Jeff Goldblum is awesome but is more secondary as seen in part II, he could have been replaced by anyone !
