Winner of three Oscars at the 1989 Academy Awards - Best Art Direction/Set Decoration: Stuart Craig & G�rard James, Best Costume Design: James Acheson, and Best Adapted Screenplay: Christopher Hampton - the film boasts an impressive supporting cast including Keanu Reeves (The Matrix), Uma Thurman (Pulp Fiction), Swoosie Kurtz (Pushing Daisies), and Peter Capaldi (In the Loop).

Warner has yet to release the technical and supplementary specifications for the Blu-ray. Dangerous Liaisons is expected to street on February 7th, 2012.

Not big on period pieces, but this was outstanding. I was just importing my DVD collection into the site today and noticed it and wondered if and when it will get released on blu-ray. Question answered!

I believe the DVD is positively ancient, having been released years and years ago. Let us hope a new transfer has been struck for this BD.

The DVD really does look terrible now, so hopefully this will have a new transfer. At least it's Warners and not Universal.

Im not a fan of this kind of film usually, but I have seen parts, and it's fantastic.

Any inclination as to whether it'll be region free? Im hoping to import as it's not been announced for a UK release yet.

since this is coming out, i am really hoping that warner will also give us a tequila sunrise bluray!!
it was released theatrically around the same time and the very underrated
crime thriller starring mel gibson, kurt russell und michelle pfeiffer is one of my
favorite all time classics!

Ciertamente una de mis películas favoritas. Para empezar, la trama es fascinante y todo, desde la detallada ambientación hasta las actuaciones magistrales de Malkovich, Pfeiffer, Close, unos jovensísimos Keanu y Uma, hacen de esta película una experiencia indispensable para cualquier cinéfilo.

¡De hecho, en mi opinión Glenn Close merecía el Óscar ese año e increíblemente no lo obtuvo!

"Certainly one of my favorite movies. For starters, the plot is fascinating and everything from setting up the actions detailed master Malkovich, Pfeiffer, Close, a young Keanu and Uma make this film a must for any film fan experience.

The DVD looked terrible even back then! It was one of my first DVD purchases and I was hugely disappointed. Hopefully the BD will be MUCH better.
