Amazon have the full set for under £60 which is a fantastic offer, but a lot to fork out after Christmas!

I can't remember how much I've spent on Smallville DVD's I think each one was between £8.99 and £16 but 58.37 is a bargain.

That Futurama boxset is a pretty nasty cube! Scratch City!

I rarely receive DVDs any more (and I don't think I've willingly bought one for about two years), but occasionally my parents will buy a cheap DVD they think may be to my liking. I received my third copy of Romero's Night of the Living Dead today.

Smallville The Complete Tenth Season

ASDA posted it out 1st class after I ordered it on the 3rd of December so pretty quick for their free shipping option. It's a bit bashed up though. I'll compare it to my other seasons to see if it passes the entrance exam to my shelves....
Got in s3 today, its the original plastic sleeve, slipbox & 4x 14mm amarays. A little shelf wear round the edges but the discs themselves are in perfect condition. Just waiting for s4 to arrive now.

Watched:

The Witches Of Oz
The Dilemma

Witches had some nice moments but was completely hampered by special effects trying to do too much, and a second half that seemed to throw any plot out the window, which was a shame as the last 20 minutes of part one was good and had a bit of potential.

The Dilemma. What's the worst thing a promotional department can label a film? A comedy, unfortunately The Dilemma wasn't funny. It had a couple of funny moments, but comedy? No chance. If it had been a drama it would have got a way with it. But a comedy? I expected to laugh so it never lived up to it's ill-fitting genre tag.

Just got The Corndog Man. Have been wanting it for awhile and I finally got around to purchasing it.
"If we're about to die anyways, I'd rather die fighting! Come for me Gmork, I am Atreyu!"

"And use some of that cologne Gertrude got you for Christmas."
"Oh do I have to Mother, it smells like ether?"

"With pleasure."

Bought:
Futurama Season 1 - £10 - ASDA
Futurama Season 1 - £7.25 - Amazon Marketplace seller, zoverstocks

I was just going to wait to get seasons 1 & 2 online used, but saw it while browsing in ASDA on the way home. I just need to get season 2 now, and season 5 but I'll probably wait for a price drop on its blu-ray set.
EDIT: I decided to just order season 2 online there. So for seasons 1-4 total cost £27.24, not bad really.
