Rush: Time Machine - Live In Cleveland Blu-ray Nov.8th

Best Buy and Rush website has this listed for Nov.8th. But Amazon has Dec.20th. But after some reading it seems that this is a Best Buy exclusive for the first 6 weeks or so. I'm thinking when I pick up my Jurassic Park on Oct.25th I may and pre-order this bad boy. It seems that Best Buy gets all the exclusives first. Rush had one last "Beyond The Lighted Stage" and this year has Taylor Swift: Journey to Fearless and the new rush. I'm sure there is more. Maybe its becuse Best Buy knows that is the place to buy music besides Amazon.

I can't wait to pick this up! I didn't get to see this tour, but two of my best friends did, and they loved it. I can't wait to hear 'The Camera Eye' live!

I live in the Phoenix area and saw this show 5 times this year. Yes, got my groupie on and had a blast. This was an incredible show each and every time. They still sound great after all these years. Geddy doesn't have the pipes anymore, but musically, they still are incredible. Dream theater Blu and now another Rush!

Tried to get tickets to this show too seeing that's where I was born and raised. They were my first concert (Cleveland) too back in the late 70's. It's gonna kick some ass.

That's awesome dude! I'm watching the new Dream Theater blu-ray right now, it's amazing. I also have R30 & Snakes on blu-ray. I think I'll throw on R30 when this is over. I can't wait to get Time Machine!

Rush Time Machine 2011: Live in Cleveland Blu-ray Best Buy exclusive offer?

Best Buy exclusive Rush Time Machine offer: Since late August the listed release date for Rush's upcoming Time Machine 2011: Live in Cleveland concert video has been given as November 8th. However, about a month ago some retailers including Amazon and Barnes & Noble began listing the release date for just the blu-ray version as December 20th - 6 weeks later than November 8th. But both Best Buy and the Rush Backstage Club kept their blu-ray release date listed as November 8th, causing a lot of confusion among fans pre-ordering the blu-ray. Although there has been no official announcement yet, I've learned that this is due to the fact that the blu-ray version will only be available at Best Buy stores in the US for the first 6 weeks of release. Best Buy will also be including an XL RUSH t-shirt with any purchase of the blu-ray.

I've been looking forward to this BD ever since the announcement that the Cleveland show was gonna be filmed. And it was a kickass show!

That's funny. My bud and I went and saw them in Nashville and were dead center front row. We've been joking that if that show would have been filmed, we would have been immortalized. LOL!! Oh well, was an incredible show and can't wait to re-live it all over again in my comfy confines.

They were in my hometown last summer didn't go . but my wife's cousin decided to go at the last minute and went and got tickets from some scalper, and he put a few pics on my facebook. He said they put on a fantasic show. Then they played in Cleveland the next night and then filmed the show. To bad it wasn't filmed in Toledo. But I will be getting this BD.

So I've noticed that Best Buy has two different versions of this disc available for pre-order.

The link from this site takes you to one that is $19.99. If you search on BB site, they list a different one for $26.99.

Any difference between the two?

New GEDDY LEE Interview from "Rolling Stone" Mag.

Talks about this release, plus the new album (out in the Spring/2012 maybe), new tour to follow after (maybe Summer or Fall of 2012). Also, he discusses them maybe doing another Entire Album in the future...

I think we would. I would love to try that idea again. I thought it was really fun. And given the fact that we play for almost three hours, you can do that and still have lots of time left over to play other stuff. We had time for our newer songs and we had time for more obscure songs. So it kind of works in the way we present ourselves.

I'd love to hear 2112 straight through.
I think that's something that would be fun to try.

I traveled from Nebraska to Chicago IL to see them live this year.

I also went to the Omaha show during the first leg of the tour!

Im pretty pumped to re-live this show!

For some reason BB must've took off the standard bluray..$17.99 or $19.99. All they have the one for $24.99/tshirt. No mention of the other one, just the DVD and CD . I wonder why? Anyonw know? I guess I will have to buy the $24.99...
