C'mon William, you are a movie lover like me. Are you gonna miss out when Kiss Me Kate and the Creature From The Black Lagoon films finally get legitimate home 3D releases?

I don't WANT or NEED 3D.

I'd STILL like a BD version of the Titanic Documentary.

Just saw the preview for Titanic in 3D and it was AMAZING!

The film appears to be on sale on amazon.ca for release on April 3rd. I'm assuming it's 2D. I preordered it just in case this is accurate.

True Lies, to some, is big & epic...and it's also not on blu! With this April being the 100th Anniversary of the disastourous event and Paramount's 100th Anniversary AND this film is being re-released theatrically in 3D...I think the chances are pretty good we'll see it on blu in 2012.

so one would think that the guy who is into technology (james cam) would have his stuff on the best medium for displying his films

I'm sure JC is all for it, but keep in mind that the studio is the bank for these high end conversions.

I feel like - with a title as large as 1997 Titanic - we would have heard about a 2012 release by now

As rickah already said, it's already been announced for a 2012 re-release in theaters, which means a blu-ray release is shortly after that.

These were exceptional documentaries. I've watched them a few times over the years. I would definitely buy these Great looks at the building and destruction of the liner.
