Default Aladdin On Blu-Ray???

Does anyone know when Aladdin is coming out on Blu-Ray? I know it was supposed to come out, but they changed their minds on that? I know there is a Blu-Ray Rip running around the net, So they have completed the transfer. Maybe they are waiting to remaster the direst to video sequels and release them all at once?

They are releasing a lot of the sirect to DVD movies so Aladdin can't be far behind, I'd imagine they'll wait for 2&3 transfers to be finished and release the trilogy like they did with the lion king set

It'd be a lot better if they could redub the Genie in "Return of Jafar" with Robin Williams, and maybe even add a few of his impressions, too.

I know, I always liked the 2nd film as much as the first when I was a kid but always noticed the genie was different, oh well at least he came back for the 3rd, shame it's god awful though

I actually like the third one; its not as good as the first, but much better than the second. The idea of Aladdin searching for his long-lost father was cool, and John Rhys-Davies voiced the part very well. Here's my fave song from the whole thing.

Aladdin is not on a timeline anymore due to it not being a diamond edition anymore, next year is its 20th anniversary I could see it being released with its sequels somewhere with next year it will be highly likely as its been years since it was released on dvd. (7 years is the usual from when it was originally released.) I would assume they would put it out with its sequels they might pull a lion king trilogy though hopefully not.

Elsewhere on a completely different thread I made the mistake of thinking that Aladdin was already confirmed as officially being released to Blu-Ray in 2012. From a marketing and promotional perspective a 20th Anniversary Edition would seem a very good idea. Unfortunately, we are NOT Disney.

Although we are not disney, Like i said there is a high probability due to disney like releasing there vault titles every 7 - 10 years (its due next year) and also they like to celebrate years in sets of 5 (10,15,20 etc.)
