Default Future Update Request

Can I make a request for a future update for the PS3? I would like an update where it is possible to remove the trophies for games I have long since deleted.

Isn't this what most people want but will never happen??

Please correct me if I'm wrong!

Why would you want to remove trophies? Or are you taking about it listing games where you have 0% trophies?

i would love to see file system support for something other then fat. ntfs would be good so i could actually use my 2tb drives to backup my system. this custom formatting to a long dead file system like fat 32 is just lame. how many people are running window 98 to have native tools for formatting drives larger than 32gb anyways. heck i would settle for the newer extfat system

thanks

I still don't get why you'd want to remove them, unless it was a really bad game (or embarrassing such as Hannah Montana ) and you want to remove all evidence that you ever played it

Isn't the NTFS file system a Microsoft thing? If so not likely to appear on a Sony product.

I think NTFS and xFAT are both Microsoft file systems, but that still doesn't mean Sony can't support them. The two actually have a pretty good relationship with Windows and VAIO, last I heard.

As for deleting trophies, I think the problem with that is that your trophies are synced to PSN, and I don't think Sony would want people deleting things off their servers. Development and debug units actually can delete trophy packs, but they cannot sync trophies to PSN.

You have a point. When I think Sony and Microsoft I automatically go into PS3 vs 360 mode

I don't think that will ever happen because it does not really make sense. However if it would be nice to only list games that at least one trophy is acquired. I have Mirror's Edge listed and Wipeout and I have 0 trophies for the games. I just loaded them but never playing them.

Also I would say it would be better to make a request at the Sony PS3 official forums and not here.
There are stories of young men stopping to gaze longingly at statues of the beautiful goddesses, only to forget themselves and die of thirst while simply looking on.
