Covers are weird sometimes, I can't see the American Horror Story making the cut with supermarkets or HMV. The Emmanuelle cover is donkeys years old (and from the era of risqué covers).

All this conjures up thoughts of Family Guy and his own TV channel with the classic show 'The Peter Griffin Side-Boob Hour.'

Thanks for the info Sir.

I also think that the South Korean 2-disc release from Spectrum DVD is the way to go as it is the uncut version - compared to the heavily cut "international version" - and region free if I am not mistaken. The price is not so bad if you get it on eBay (I would highly recommend to purchase from the eBay seller "wooridvd"), the postage from South-Korea is not high and it gets here fast (I live in Norway, Europe).

I love this movie, if a proper uncut releases anywhere I'll have no choice but to import. Until then the Spectrum DVD release is more than adequate.

I think the Protection of Children Act is only enforced under extreme circumstances nowadays. I believe that both Bertolucci's 1900 and Oshima's In the Realm of the Senses have now been passed uncut. Even films as risqué as Guy Hamilton's work has been passed (Criterion seem to have the rights to them in the US...for some reason) - it's something like the infamous Spielen wir Liebe* (what was Martin Loeb thinking after his terrific role in Eustache's Mes petites amoureuses?) that wouldn't cut it.

*I haven't seen it, in case you're wondering!
