Dolby's facebook page really pumps up the 7.1 soundmix that was done for this, yet the actual mass releaes/availbility of this is odd - where is one supposed to buy this??

This is the best Blu-ray i own in terms of content and picture qt.
Fantastic camerawork,snowboarding and heli flying. Can't see how nowone can make a better film.

Thanks for the pics. Sucks that not only is it G1 but you can't even trim down artwork to put in a BD case.

Been thinking about ordering it for awhile though. How's the special features?

• “Behind the Scenes” (19:43 – HD) includes some great interviews with the Director Curt Morgan and snowboarder Travis Rice. Some of the other members of the film crew, flight crew and pro snowboarders featured in the film offer up some excellent interviews here that also come with lots of laughs.
• “Whisker Biscuits” (14:55 – HD) not only has a funny name but is funny itself. That’s all I’m going to tell you. Not because there’s some huge surprise but because I’m lazy and it’s late. Just rest assured you should watch this if you enjoyed the film. I will however say “It’s cold out here for a pimp” is now one of my new favorite parodies. OK. I’ll give in, this is a blooper reel, a gag reel, one those silly things meets maybe “Jackass” for pro snowboarders. Watch this shit and you’ll be cracking the **** up for fifteen minutes straight. You’ll wish it will never end, but it does. Sorry. Travis Rice should approach acting just for a challenge as he does at the end here. Great stuff.
• “Go Bigger” (2:00 – HD) involves so snowmobile fun turned bad that involves an unfortunate tree, a huge flip and epic fail. Fun stuff — to watch. Perhaps not so much fun to do yourself.
• “Raw” (6:47 – HD) is raw footage, hence that short snazzy title they gave it. Lots of beautiful shots of wicked runs that didn’t make it into the film itself sadly but are stilly amazing to watch and be included here none-the-less.
• “Birdseye” (5:20 – HD) involves some of the most beautiful time-lapsed, high framrerate and ariel footage you’ll ever see. It didn’t make it into the film but they shot it and it’s still really beautiful. This makes me smile and love nature.
• “Avalanche Awareness” (5:38 – HD) is self-explanatory and is worth watching if you actually attempt any of this or snowboard in areas that an avalanche could perhaps happen. Always be safe folks, YOUR life is precious and no run, stunt or anything is worth losing your life to attempt.
• “Trice POV” (1:29 – HD) has Travis Rice going on a run with you the viewer seeing his POV (point of view) and that’s what the rest of these “POV” featurettes are as well.
• “J Jones POV” (1:06 – HD) features Jeremy Jones on a run, again through POV as the rider sees.
• “John J POV” (0:53 – HD) features John Jackson on a run, again through POV as the rider sees.
• “El Colorado” (1:54 – HD) features some more traditional snowboarding at an actual place they let the normal, perhaps less than pro, people do it. Sick stuff just smaller mountains.
• “Gone Fishin’” (1:17 – HD) is about fishing. Imagine that?! If you didn’t, I worry about you. Seek help.
• “The Album Leaf Music Video” (5:50 – HD)
• “Carnage” (2:54 – HD) has lots of “wipeouts”, epic fails, crashes n’ such. Brutal stuff.
• “The Black Angels Music Video” (2:24 – HD)
• A DVD of the film in Standard Definition is included in this “combo pack” and it features both Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound.
