I hope when it hits the US there is a coupon of some sort. I'm sad to double dip on my Pixars, but I do want them in 3D.

They're dogfighters

The movie was good, not the best from Pixar, but well done in most parts, especially the opening. I hope the US gets a 3D release, hopefully around the time Brave is released in theaters.

I expect to see all of the Pixar major releases, and some of the more popular hand drawn Disney animated films, released in 3D eventually. And I'll be right there to re-buy in 3D and sell the 2D only films. At least Disney is bringing out full featured disc sets for their 3D releases.

Really looking forward to picking this up in 3D. I avoided picking this movie up when it first came out. Didn't think it would be my kind of thing....but I grabbed it at a great price and absolutely loved the story, as does my 4 year old.
[Show spoiler]

Gonna have to sell my Blu-Ray Combo set like I did with TS1, TS2, TS2 and Bolt when I upgraded them to 3D (when they were $19.99 each on Best Buy). Actually got pretty decent prices for them. Just hope Up has a great release week price with coupon!

Disney pumped out so many 3D BDs in 2011 -- I believe it was 15 titles. I hope the trend continues.

Anyone care to speculate on how many 3D BDs Disney will release in 2012?

It would be nice if they match their 15-17 from 2011, but it probably won't happen. But very likely:

Up
Nemo
Little Mermaid (converted)

And probably Brave after its summer release, maybe around the holiday season.

Monsters Inc. will probably follow in 2013, to coincide with the release of Monsters U.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0062O58F0

Up is 17.99 dooschmarks and I am seriously wanting to order this from amazon UK since it comes out in about 2 weeks.

But I am concerned that it might be region locked for Europe and be overdubbed with European voice talent. I also do not know how much 17.99 doochemarks converts to US dollars, not to mention the cost for shipping.

What really burns my azz is that Up is an AMERICAN movie and the Europeans will get the 3D blu-ray before the USA (no offense). How can you explain this as it makes no sense to me. It should have the same release date worldwide.

It seems that Disney is a huge advocate of 3D BD technology. I am sure Up 3D will come out on BD in the USA eventually. But when?

This is so disturbing to me that I am about to pop a vein.

Disney US had quite a few big end of year titles that the UK didn't get especially in 3D. We didnt get Chicken Little, GForce, Meet the Robinsons or Mars Need Moms in 3D!

This is payback

I'm on the fence...I want to order this since I LOVE Up (You'd better believe I'm double dipping). But I'd hate for this to be region locked.

And no firm North American release date is rather odd
