I haven't really found many threads on this. The only thing I have seen is some anecdotal messages about the flash from the dlp link washing out the screen a bit. Any pros/cons of one vs the other I should know about?
Also I am trying to decide on some glasses. If I went the dlp link route I wanted to get either the True Depth or Optoma glasses but the TD's are oos everywhere and the zd201 Optomas are only available in the uk and no one has them in stock either. So what are some good 3d glasses that are actually available? |

Can I just say to the forum members; "please answer Medwynd's query".
I was just injecting a little 3rd/humour option into the mix. ps: Did you notice that the blue-pencil is longer & understand why.. |

What program can I use to combine two left and right videos together to make a 3D Blu ray to burn and play on my PS3. I downloaded A Christmas Carol 3D and I have a left and right video file with the audio from the left source. They are in .ts format. So anyone know how to combine them to a SBS MKV or Blu ray? Help me please

Also make sure the DLP link can be disabled on your display; some don't offer this option, and the flash may be visible when using an IR emitter. |

I use dlp link and they are great
The notion that dlp link glasses wah out the image is totally false. It's not dlp link but some 3D glasses do look washed out, like dlp link ultra clears look washed out but optima zd101's look great Just be careful on the cheaper glasses that's all |

I get that DLP Link synchronization (hey, it's active shutter) is sent by a DLP projector without the help of an external emitter. What I don't understand is how communication occurs between the projector and the glasses. Is it WiFi, RF, IR, or Bluetooth?

you got it wrong, its not bluetooth , IR or WIFI, its from the natural white light flicking of the DLP set itself

I believe it, but that's not the dlp link problem. The ultra clears and others like the 3D VIP glasses have a green tint to the lense and have a washed out image. I experience that too with my 3D VIP glasses. But when u use my optoma zd101 glasses the image is bright and colorful and no green tint to the lense at all
