just saw it. movie was pretty lame. Didnt really like the story. Besides the "needing time" and "time is currency" part. Its an extremely generic plot.

Well reviews aside I really want to see this. Just saw the trailer a few nights back and it looks interesting. Man I must be out of it because knew nothing about this film until then (when I saw the trailer).

OK. I'm gonna blind buy either THE THING (2011) or IN TIME -

IN TIME = Metacritic = 53 out of 100
THE THING (2011) = Metacritic = 49 out of 100

IN TIME = RottenTomatoes = 37% liked
THE THING = RottenTomatoes = 35% liked

According to both websites, IN TIME is the slightly better movie.

If YOU could only buy one, which would it be? (I'll ask this in both forums)

I haven't seen either yet, The Thing being one I will avoid based on the things I heard from friends and other people. I hear good feedback, sort of "it's okay" or "better than I expected" from friends and customers at my job, so if I had to make a choice for a blind buy, I'd go for In Time.

IN TIME doesn't have to deal with the shadow of John Carpenter's classic 1982 THE THING like the 2011 THE THING does; remove that unfair disadvantage, and I feel confident (though, to be fair, I haven't yet seen IN TIME) that THE THING would be the superior film.

So I got this from Best Buy and I am wondering how to remove the stickers.

I got the companys stickers off with no problem, even the Best Buy yellow sticker came off with ease.

But I am stuck with the huge white Best Buy sticker on the front.

What is the best way to remove this? And does it matter that this has a glossy metallic look to it.

For anyone that bought it from Best Buy, how did you remove the white sticker?

Get a bottle of Goo Gone, put some on a paper towel and press down on the sticker for a little while then peel the sticker off.

OK, I don't have any Goo Gone.

So I tried something else.
I sprayed a little bit of Febreze Air Effects (Air Freshner) directly on the left over sticker and used a cloth and lightly rubbed it off. Some glue residue was left so I sprayed some more and it all came off.
No damage at all to the slipcover.

I was underwhelmed with this film when I saw it at the theaters-- expecting more-- and yet, I love the concept of the film (I love Andrew Niccol's previous works-- Gattaca, S1mone, and he wrote The Truman Show), love the futuristic look of the film, and great chemistry between Timberlake and Seyfried-- ala Bonnie and Clyde. Needless to say, I couldn't resist picking up the Blu especially with a cool slip cover and intrigued to see the extras. Plus my $5 RZ cert. brought the price down to under $15.

And now it smells nice, too.

I really had high hopes for this movie, and even really wanted to like it while watching it. Although, it really is a dull dumb movie. The concept is cool but it wears thin too early and your just left with Timberlake and Seyfried running around. The acting really isn't that great either. The only thing I like about the movie is that Seyfried is extremely sexy in this film. Too bad the romance scenes are lame and you don't get to fully see her wonderful body. Let me mention the scene where they crash the convertible. Oh got, it looks so fony. I actually laughed and had to re-watch it over because I couldn't believe they would botch it so bad. All the good shots were in the trailer. The car chases are really lame aswell. I like the slipcover but can't bring myself to buy the movie because I think it sucked. Just my opinion.

I laughed so hard when I read the one liner quote from a critic on the cover.

"Daring Original. Thrilling" - Andrew Freund, MySpace.

Grabbed my copy today.
I loved this, I thought it was great. I usually don't watch these types of movies, so it was all new to me and I really enjoyed it - I thought it was short though.

This is apparently this years Land Of The Lost for me. I thoroughly enjoyed this and was excited to pick it up today, although it appears most hate it. That's the beauty of the subjective nature of film though.

In case anyone's actually curious since their isn't a review, the A/V presentation is top notch IMO. 4.5's to both.

I received my copy today from Amazon but the slipcover and artwork had significant damage . If the case was damaged I wouldn't mind, but I don't have any other way of replacing what's damaged. I contacted Amazon about it.

As for the movie, I liked it. It isn't anything spectacular but I do like the concept of the film. It's an entertaining sci fi movie.

lol, I was beginning to think I was the only one who really enjoyed Land Of The Lost! Although I may be a little biased since IMO Will Ferrell may be one of the funniest men alive!

Back on topic, I'm going with my gut & will be blind buying this, there have been WAY too many movies that were trashed by critics that I ended up liking or loving, so I'm done listening to them!

Well the In Time Blu-ray Review is up, and it's not a positive one unless you include PQ. I'll still give this a rent at Redbox and see what I think. The cast is at least worth a $1 rent.

Well, the wife and I watched it last night...

Did we like it? Yes. But it really wasn't that great of a movie. I DID enjoy it; had me on the edge of my seat a few times. However, it could have been MUCH better. The acting is fine, the action is good, the story is good, but they could've done much better with the execution.

On a plus side, Seyfried and Wilde are nice to look at... Timberlake's acting was not bad either.

I'll classify In Time with Jumper: not great movies by any means but I really enjoyed them.

In Time gets a C+ at best.
