Kind of surprised that there really isn't that many extras on the Kick-Ass blu-ray. Never got around to watching them until now.
And yes, finally finished all the extras from the X-Men Trilogy and Green Lantern. Took bloody ages!

Finally watched One Step Beyond: Making Alien Resurrection which completes the major Anthology docs.

Must admit, it felt like they were padding this one out a bit to match the running time of the other three. There weren't really the wealth of stories (or studio friction) to talk about, so instead they resort to heavy detail on specific scenes (half an hour on the underwater scene? 10 minutes on Ripley's over-the-head basketball shot?).

Very well produced, though.

I'm not usually bothered about extras if they're featurettes, but if they're a decent length (ie at least an hour) then I'll watch them.

This was a pretty informative "making of" with input from the majority of the main cast/ crew (exc Sean Harris and Karel Roden) and covered the following aspects:

• Pre-production
• Casting
• Climbing
• Stunts
• VFX
• That's a wrap

All-in-all a good companion piece to a decent British film.

LOL, its actually a good popcorn movie. But the documentaries are interesting.
