There have been hundreds of old Telugu DVD releases from one off companies like "samudra", "sai digital", "stars" etc - this maybe Ficus's first. Infact, Tolly2Holly was also a film distributor that made their own DVDs too.

If Ficus is making their own DVD and Blu-ray for Dhookudu because they have rights, they should also consider releasing atleast a DVD for Khaleja and Puli for which there is no DVD or Blu-ray in the world.
Ficus has USA rights for both Puli and Khaleja as well. How can such big budget/popular movies not have a DVD released ? Last edited by annayya; 01-04-2012 at 02:41 PM. |

@Volga, Please take some time and make better/attractive Blu-ray covers with organized/professional look. The Back Cover seems too messy.

True, Ficus announced that it has the USA rights.
So Volga DVDs for Dhookudu were not sold in USA. We should expect Ficus to release their own DVD and Blu-ray very soon. It would help if Ficus can share more info. |

DOOKUDU-BD review
saw the movie tdy. this is a very good effort from volga,as the transfer looked decent, although i feel the colors were little dull.(watermark only appears for a few seconds in the begining of the song) but the AQ is very good. also, agree with the other members that the artcover could have been a lot more glossier. anyway Mahesh's 1st outing on BD is a gud purchase.
