This was one of the better DTV Sequels that Disney put out. I will buy.

Anyway, I'm glad they are releasing both movies! Indeed, it not a bad sequel. Not as good as the original, but most aren't.
For Trade:

My thoughts exactly. That's their prestige line.
"Someone once told me, that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives. And I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey, and reminds us to cherish every moment because they'll never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we've lived. After all Number One, we're only mortal."-Captain Jean-Luc Picard

Just caught the trailer for it on the real L&T disk (oh, the Diamond-marketed solo vidquels are now "Classics out of the vault"??
)And almost forgot what was so irritating about the first wave of "The classic characters had a dysfunctional kid!" plots that followed in the wake of Little Mermaid II: Not just that they were all exactly alike (Classic Jr. feels "unappreciated" or "doesn't fit in", runs off, meets new friends, and/or becomes sucker for the villain's plot, while the Classic Parents mount a concerned rescue)... But it's always the mark of an inexperienced kids'-film writer to spend huge amounts of time on the emotional concerns of the grownup new-parents--And think Disney knew they were pitching it straight into the arms of 30-yo. suburban Disney-gushing moms who wanted to fantasize about being Lady and Ariel and Nala, since kids weren't the ones paying the $20 at Target. Fortunately, their reasons for making sequels changed, and the storylines could change with them, but even defenders of the "good" movie-related vidquels still cringe at the "Parent" sequels.

EDIT: Apparently Pooh's Grand Adventure was in the first four: Return of Jafar, King of Thieves, Poohs Grand Adventure, Enchanted christmas, BMW were the first 5. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._entertainment Last edited by disneyfreak; 02-08-2012 at 09:49 PM. |

I see that this was already released in a set with the first flick in France (I believe) and a few other countries... I do have to agree that I'm glad it's not the only option.
I still can't believe that I actually own a movie in which Tod and Copper JOIN A BAND... I don't get it. Also, it's so obvious that a number of the earlier Disney DTV sequels were the first few episodes of a canned TV series mushed together, so I'm glad they've gotten (slightly) better with the writing and animation in that regard... but I still don't find it necessary to buy them. |

So... from all the Disney movies released yesterday... Why is Scamp's Adventure the only one that has disc art?
