That doesn't even include the catalog releases. With the catalogs, I'm pretty sure March will be the month where I buy the most blus ever (for me). I've already NOT spent holiday gift cards, just to be able to help a little with March.

While I don't think it will be the month I buy the most ever for me, it is a busy month. It starts off with 3 movies and 1 TV show that I want, which of course includes Like Crazy. A few of the catalog titles need to come down in price a little though.

What a big disappointment. Saw this last week and was thoroughly displeased. Amateur directing, poor pacing, acting was decent at best. Definitely skip this one.

I'm in the minority as well because I just watched this today and I'm already going to sell it. I don't think it was that bad, but the main reason why I didn't like it anywhere near as much I expected would be the ending.

[Show spoiler]They finally got what they wanted after all of that struggle, but now they are going to be miserable together at best? Maybe I just don't get the point of making a love story like this and then have it end like that.

I do have to mention some poor editing as well though.

It was loosely based around the director and his ex-wife who was Austrian. The characters in the film were so worn down and broken from the whole process

I get that the whole process is what wore them down, but to be honest

[Show spoiler]they put themselves in that position by violating her Visa and then him refusing to move. All he had to do was pick up and move and they would have been fine. If they were so much in love, why would he choose to be miserable? Why does the film have to be such a downer when a change like that could have opened the door for a story that wouldn't have suffered in quality one bit? The adjustment would have been a struggle, but it would have been far less of a strain on their relationship than living apart and sleeping with other people.

The ending of this felt

[Show spoiler]almost as abrupt as Blue Valentine's, although that movie as a whole was expertly crafted and had a million times better characters.

The "rationalization" they had

[Show spoiler]in the kitchen arguement scene was very juvenile and maybe showed they weren't ready for each other, but based on their past, they fought to be together. That's an awful way of thinking, and held true to the ending where they got what they wanted, but felt distant, still.

I can appreciate it's more raw approach and brutally honest ending, because not all relationships are the same as portrayed, but I still think it was done very amateur.

Have to disagree there, this film wasn't as ridiculous as Blue Valentine...also this one didn't have Ryan Gosling's "look at me, I'm acting" performance.

And I have to disagree again. While I may not love Blue Valentine as much as some, I still own it and prefer it to this. I knew going in that Blue Valentine was a gut wrenching downer.

[Show spoiler]This wasn't marketed as such. They gave you the impression there was a chance they would end up together and actually happy in the end. They actually implied it. Which I still say could have easily been achieved without hurting the quality of the movie.
