Default New Disney titles for 2012/2013 (Aladdin, Rescuers, Aristocats, Pocahontas etc.)

Home on the Range Blu-ray

Treasure Planet Blu-ray

I'd share these announcements with you, they are all listed in the booklet coming with Lady and the Tramp. I know some of these have been rumoured and/or announced in other territories, but this is the US version, so at least that's something. Feel free to share and use these pictures if you want. No credits necessary.

Diamond Editon for Spring 2013 is Aladdin.
Aristocats coming to Blu-ray August 7th.
The Rescuers & The Rescuers Down Under coming to Blu-ray in a 35th anniversary combo pack summer 2012.
Pocahontas and Pocahontas 2 coming to Blu-ray in a combo pack summer 2012.
Lady and the Tramp 2 coming to Blu-ray summer 2012.
Secret of the Wings, a new Disney Fairies film, coming to blu-ray fall 2012.

So Aladdin is part of the Diamond Edition line now? And if it's out in Spring 2013, what does that mean for Peter Pan? I thought that was set to be released as a Diamond title at that time. Still, great to see that Aladdin is finally getting a Blu-ray release!

What about The Little Mermaid? With Aladdin's inclusion, has it been shuffled off schedule too?

Aristocats - Gonna buy this somehow
The Rescuers & The Rescuers Down Under - also going to get this, I'll finally be able to upgrade TRDU from VHS!!!!! Held off on getting the DVD, which apparently was a good thing.
Pocahontas and Pocahontas 2 - If only I can get Pocahontas on its own, wasn't a fan of the sequel at all,

Wait A second, WTF, haha I thought that Aladdin was out?!!? Disney is Honestly getting on my nerves. -__- I'm glad its coming, but honestly this was a wierd time to place it, that just pushed back Peter Pan, and The Little Mermaid.

Pretty sure I wasn't complaining, just that I don't care for a film. To be honest, Pocahontas isn't even one of my top Disney films, so I may even skip the release all together. I'm happy Disney is putting it out for the others though, and they're still offering the following titles for me, which is more than enough for my budget:

Rescuers pack
Aristocats
Cinderella
Aladdin

have you actualy counted how many releases there will be in the summer?

Pocahontas 1+2
Rescuers + Rescuers Down Under
Aristocats
Lady and the Tramp 2

after those you have Cinderella and even more could be coming based on other countries' release schedule

The Little Mermaid will most probably be the Fall 2013 Diamond release

Same here. I don't mind a combo release for the Rescuers movies (mainly because I actually prefer the sequel), but this habit of including the direct-to-DVD cheapquels with the originals is pretty lame.

I don't think that The Little Mermaid is the Fall release, thinking about it now, I think the reason disney delayed this was so that they could have a "Newer" film with a "Older" Film each year. (Not in any order, but old on left new on right)
snow white/ batb
Bambi/ The Lion King
Latt/ Cindy
Peter Pan/ Aladdin
The Jungle Book / The Little Mermaid
etc.
etc.

Your argument is flawed. LATT and Cindy both came out in the 1950s.
