Will preorder aswell but as this will not match any other Fincher film on my shelf (all the others are slipcases) I will still keep with my US order.

Well there's a second HMV exclusive listed as well, no details at all but I thought it might be a slipcase (possibly the teaser poster). Could be nothing, could just be a mistake but it might be worth keeping an eye on.

Pre ordered both the Steelbook and the other HMV exclusive. Hopefully the cover art for both will be online very soon.

There was a Swedish adaptation of the book made for TV and released theatrically over here in 2010. This adaptation (not a remake) was released at the end of 2011. None of the cast or crew are the same - the 2010 version was made in Swedish with Swedish actors, the 2011 version was directed by David Fincher and used English-speaking actors.
