There is one actor (Swedish) present in both movies - David Dencik (journalist in the first one, policeman in Fincher version).

There's a post on the US forums that I'm guessing the Exclusive sleeve will look like.

Hell, I haven't even seen the original yet Might have to check it out on LoveFilm instant tomorrow
Yet to see the remake, but the original will take some beating as will the portrayal of Salander.

I've not seen the original, however the remake was really very good. I had no prior knowledge of the books or anything else, the only thing that got me sitting down in the theatre was that it was David Fincher directing. I kinda want to see the original sequels now, but don't want to ruin the story as I would rather watch the modern versions first.

The books are well worth reading, Ben, if you get the chance.

HMV.com now lists the other exclusive as a digipack which means it'll most likely be just like the US release.

Strangely, it appears they are not selling the non-exclusive release

FOR SALE:-

Where is likely to have the cheapest price for this set?

I know online places are often the cheapest, however often places like Blockbuster have it for an oddly cheap price...?

Don't see why they're doing another exclusive, but I'll take a Steel over a DigiPack anyday!

Online is The Hut or Zavvi @ £14.95

Blockbuster in store usually have it for around that price for week 1 as well

I'd imagine, as has been the case with most recent releases, that sainsburys and morrisons will have it for around the £15.00 mark on release week

Yeah it says £13.99 when you search for it but when you click on it it goes up £15.00 HMV has been weird today for pricing they had the Warhorse steelbook up for £28 but when you clicked on it it went down to £15.99.

Not yet, but expect it to look like the US digi - same thing happened with The Social Network.
