Found this in the list of Blue Underground releases.

If true hope we get it for Halloween.

I think someone just made a page for fun...there's no release date or anything. We could get it in 2 years or in 5 months for all we know.
Last Bought:
The Blood Trilogy
Last Watched: The Silence of the Lambs
My current most anticipated release: Scream Factory's releases of The Burning, The Howling and The Fog

I thought it was either Anchor Bay or The Weinstein Company that had it?

Can't anyone create a placeholder for any conceivable release on here? I can whip up a page for 'The Hitcher' due in October from Blue Underground but sadly it won't make it so. As orlando and csdot said, the rights reverted back to Weinstein awhile back and we surely would have heard an announcement by now if Lustig had reacquired them.

The Weinsteins license out most of their library anyway (Echo Bridge and Lionsgate), so even if they still have the rights BU could still be putting it out.

It's definitely my most-wanted on Blu-ray.

I'm sure we'd know ahead of time it was being worked on.

When the Weinsteins got it they supposedly restored it and premiered it at a film festival, but I can't remember which one. There were reports that it looked amazing, but that was all I heard and that was 2 years ago.

Is the remake still in the works? If so, that'd be a good bet as to when it might turn up.

You're thinking of Miramax, the Weinstein's old company.

It blew my mind the first time I heard it.

I sure hope so. Suspiria is long overdue for a U.S. Blu release. It's easily my favorite Argento film.

I don't think BU have the rights anymore, so I highly doubt this is an indication of an upcoming US release.

Whenever it does get released here, however, I hope it's an all-new scan done right. All the screenshots I've seen of the foreign releases are all really awful. :| That will not do considering it's one of the best and most beautiful films I've seen.
