Default Alexander Revisted/Troy/300 Triple Feature

Alexander Revisited / Troy / 300 Blu-ray

Has anyone picked this up?

If so, I have a question on the Alexander Revisted disc. I understand from spec sheets that this set is 3 discs. Is the Alexander Revisited feature contained on one side of one disc? Or, is it spread across two BDs like the original release, which I assume would up the total # of discs in the set from 3 to 4?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

It's a 4 Disc set with Alexander receiving two discs.

My question would be, is it the "Movie Experience" version of 300 or the vanilla release.

Seeing the studio is Warner, I think I know the answer.

Standard release. The 300 digibook stands alone as the deluxe version.

Just got this. It makes sense for $15.

I have seen all 3 in DVDs only so I am sure this is a great addition to my BD2Ds. How do you guys count this -- 1 or 3? I'm thinking 3 because they're 3 titles (even though 1 triple feature sleeve). If 3, this will bring my total to 12!

All these 3 movies to me are solid. Hopefully they release other great epic battles. I'm thinking Gladiator / Ben Hur / Joan of Arc. I'd buy that! Also the likes of Braveheart, Man In Iron Mask, Caligula, Patriot, etc. So many great titles out there to combine for $15.

I had just finished Troy. Sigh, Diane Kruger's topless scene is a sight to behold. Made it worth the purchase.

One thing about the Troy disc is it does not have

- Language feature
- Scene selection feature

Those 2 are basic features and I'm a bit bummed Troy doesn't have them. Fingers crossed on 300 and Alexander.

Also, the bonus feature on casting Helen is pitiful. It's like 1 minute.

Here in the UK I spotted Face/Off in one of the supermarkets and it's bonus features were Feature Film, Seamless Menus and a Trailer.

I just finished Alexander Revisited. I don't like that it's split into 2 discs. Gone with the Wind is about as long if not longer yet it's just one disc. Same as Troy, Alexander BD does not have Subtitles, Language and Scene Selection.

At least they gave you a trailer.

FYI: Warner did not embrace a "main menu" until after the end of the format war. All three films have "pop-up menus" so to access languages/subtitles, scenes, and extras during the film you press the Pop-up Menu button on your remote.

Also Alexander Revisited was produced before the BD-50 disc was standardized. Hence, 2 BD-25s while Gone With The Wind is a BD-50 as it was released much later.
