LG firmware update??

I have the LG 3D blu ray player,that came with the LW5300 package..Does anybody know if there is/was a firmware update??..I have bought 2 different copies of Saw 3D and it wont play either one??

Did you try to update it yourself using the menu settings? LG tv will automatically find updates, but sometimes players Won't. Make sure your player is connected to the Internet.

Would be nice if somewhere there was an archive of LG firmware updates that LG won't put on their site to directly download.

For example the BD611. I know there's an update because I did mine online, but the update is nowhere to be found for putting on a USB stick or disc.

I'm having the same problem with my LGBP200. It doesn't want to play
the Star-Wars complete saga. Black screen with a message that I
have to contact Blu-Ray.com for some update? I have already downloaded
the firmware update from LG for it and applied it onto a uSB stick.
It applied ok..but message is still there when attempting to play StarWars
blu-ray. Other blu ray dvds seem to be ok.
What can be wrong?

Run a network cable directly to your BR3D player, then run an update search and let it do its thing. Same goes for the TV.

I have a complete LG setup and had syncing issues on numerous discs, the updates fixed all of my problems - I have watched Saw 3D without issue.

Do you mean connect the LG Blu-Ray player to the internet or the Sharp
Aquos tv to the internet? This message only appears when I'm playing
Star Wars The complete saga. After a while it does find it's way to
play the movie. The black screen message does not appear when
playing any other Blu-Ray movie, so it appears to be something specific to the Star Wars box set.
On the back of the package it suggests if there are questions to visit http://www.foxconnect.com

Yes sir - to the Internet. I would connect them both, one at a time -> Each run their own firmware and like any technology, will require an update here or there to stay current.

Literally take a network cable and run it to you BR player, then go into the menu options and navigate your way through to a search for firmware updates, then sit back and let it do its thing. Afterwards do the exact same thing with your TV.
