So surprised to find this. Was looking to order Election and Election 2 (Triad Election) this week, and found this in a totally unrelated search. I've never seen Triad Underworld, but at this price who cares it could be horrible and it would still be worth it. All three movies are cheaper then just buying the Hong Kong Blu-ray of Election by itself.

Does Palisades Tartan usually do a good job? I searched my own collection and it seems I have nothing by them so far... although I have the Canadian Vengeance Trilogy put out by Alliance, I don't know if they just used the same transfer as Palisades Tartan or not.

The cover art looks hilariously atrocious but it is a great deal. having just imported Election 1 & 2 at $10 apiece, Triad Underworld (?) is like a free movie.

May I ask where you imported Election 1 & 2 at $10 a piece? I'll probably still going to get this set unless someone says Palisades Tartan doesn't usually do a good job, but I'm always looking to import Asian Blu-rays that aren't available here.

Edit: I must have done something wrong with my search the first time, because I have four Blus from Palisades Tartan... all UK imports... Thirst, Tale of Two Sisters, 36 and I'm a Cyborg... and I'm happy with all 4 discs.

Placed my first order with Yesasia just last week , so far all the Korean and Hong Kong blu-rays I have have been purchased on eBay... but now it seems most sellers on eBay are selling at higher prices then online stores.

Thank you very much for those links. I'm always nervous ordering something from an online store for the first time, it helps when someone else recommends a reliable one.

It's $19.99 for the set at Amazon currently which is a great price. I already own Election 1 and 2 from Hong Kong but I've never heard or Triad Underworld.

wow this is a great find. Thanks OP. Very excited to finally own the Election films and I remember hearing about Triad Underworld but I never saw it.

Triad Underworld is actually released as "JIANG HU" in Hongkong. It is a decent gangster flick with lots of actions in slow motion.

It's a good deal and it's great that the U.S. finally gets a BD release of the Election films but this set is misleading as some will think Triad Underworld is part 3 to Johnie To's Election fillms but it isn't. It's like including a Star Trek film in a Star Wars box set. Oh well, slight annoyance but it is a great deal and I may have to pull the trigger on this one somewhere down the line.

By the looks of that image, that blu ray case looks like it has one of those stamped on blu ray insignias. I also find it interesting that Andy Lau (an actor) has his name next to Johnnie To (the director), that's quite bizarre. But at $20, this is too good to pass up. I've been needing to see the Election films, and I guess that random third film should be cool too. Just wish it wasn't inside such bizarre cover and packaging.
