I don't have either of the first two film on Blu yet; I'll probably just wait, until all 3 are done in a boxset.

Dam it's only been ten years? Seems like forever ago. But yeah my sentiments more or less too, recall being somewhat disappointed with it.

Given how great the MIB blu-ray is, though, will be checking it out anyway.

I liked MIB2. It had weak points, but it was fun to see the actress from Twin Peaks.

I too haven't seen the second film since theaters. I know it's not as great. I didn't even own the original on DVD, let alone Blu-ray, so I will wait till fall and grab the trilogy collection

Barry Sonnenfeld is an acquired taste. You either like his work or you don't.

I don't think that's the case, he's just very hit-or-miss. On one hand he has stuff like the "Men in Black" and "Addams Family" movies then he has movies that are unwatchable like "Wild Wild West" and "RV". I think you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who loved or hated his entire filmography.

Hello, I'll introduce myself properly in the newbie thread, assuming that there is one. Just wanted to get in on this topic. I know its about MIBII but very quickly. I've been searching for the MIB Blu-ray with that out of print slipcover for a few months now, along with other ones. So I have been keeping an eye on eBay, Amazon, and half.com for a while and finally found a guy selling one with the slipcover for 18.99 shipped, brand new, just a few minutes ago. Just for comparison: a few hours earlier someone sold the slipcover alone for 14.04 shipped. The slipcover by itself! It boggles me that some people throw theirs away. A slipcover sold for 40 dollars plus all by itself recently. I mean think about: you basically are getting a movie for free and have enough leftover to buy a new release, and if that comes with the slip, bang, at least you'll get some money back. I wouldn't pay more than 4 dollars for a slipcover, not including shipping. A rare one, like MIB, I would pay 7 for. If no one likes their slipcover I wouldn't mind taking them off their hands.

Can't wait for MIBII to be released as well. Not as good as the first, but enjoyable. Rosario Dawson does make the movie easier to watch, she also makes Alexander easier as well. I wonder if it's going to be a combo or just the blu ray?

If anyone knows of anyone that has Moon Blu-ray plus slipcover and Drive Blu-ray plus futureshop slipcover they want to sale or trade off let me know please. Thanks.
