Default So....I'm on the hCG diet....

.....if any of you have ever considered it, I highly recommend it.

I'm about 5 weeks into my 7-week program, and I've not only lost 25 lbs., I've grown so accustomed to eating more natural, fresher foods, that my bodies' metabolism appears to have re-set itself. I have more energy than I've had since I was coaching hockey, back in my 20's (I'm now 48).

The funny thing is, I'd never have considered going on this diet on my own. My girlfriend wanted to try it, and I said I'd do it with her.

It wasn't cheap; it cost each of us $600+. But it was absolutely worth every penny.

And.....no, I don't sell the stuff....I just recommend it.

My girlfriend has lost 25+ lbs, too!

that's great news congratulations , I've seen the book "The Weight Loss Cure" that recommended using HGC and other things to loss the pounds. I found some HGC drops at my local Walmart and was almost going to buy some till I really devoted my time in to P90X, walking, stopped drinking soda and eating better, I've lost about 16 lbs in almost three months. Lemmy it's great to hear that you found something out there that works for you and your girlfriend, I wish you both the best and happy health.

I'm now down to the weight I was at in my 20's....

.....now, I'm shooting for (age) 19 and (weight) 210....or less!

Every pair of pants/shorts I own fall off me now. I swim in my shirts....I have no idea what size I even wear right now, anywhere on my body.

I had a belt that I bought last year and didn't like because it was a bit too small....on the tightest hole on it, it now falls right off my waist. Gonna drill new ones in it later.

Holy crap. The energy is amazing. And I've realized so many ways to eat well, while eating right. This was far easier than I expected, too. It just "clicked" for me. I don't feel like I'm dieting; I feel like I'm living.

Kudos man.I've tried it.I made it about a month before I broke down and had pizza.I lost a easy 30+ pounds. But if you don't stick to it the weight comes back real fast. Good luck. Are you doing injections?

Yeah, injections. I bought a cookbook of recipes for the diet, and they're so damned good that I will continue to eat them after the regimen is over.

Oh, and I do occasionally eat out (I had an 8" deluxe pizza the other day while dining out with another couple....still lost a 1/2 lb.), I just try to be reasonable about what I eat, and, most importantly, how much of it I eat.

UPDATE:

I've taken the last of the shots, and my weight & metabolism have stabilized.

Old weight: 270
New weight: 236

Old waist size: 46/48
New waist size: 36/38

I now have 3 weeks in "Phase 3", which includes a 2,000 calorie per day limit. And that's fine with me; after eating 500 calories a day for seven weeks, I don't know if I even can eat four times that much food in a day anymore!

Three weeks like that, then 3 more, where starches are sloooowly reintroduced to the meals. After that, I have two choices: I can maintain this weight, or go back on the hCG diet....

I'm definitely going to go back on it. The foods are great, and I want to get down to my weight as it was in high school: 210.

congrats man!!

My wife finally found a diet that she can stick to recently as well and so far she’s down 20 lbs. since the beginning of the year.

It’s called the “primal diet” where u basically gt back to eating what your body was meant to process…nuts, meat, fruits, veggies. Basically nothing processed.

The only exercise she’s been doing is going for a walk 2x a week and or going swimming 1x a week.

It’s fantastic when you can find something that works for you!!! Keep up the good work!!
