Default Chronicle (2012). Available 5.15.2012. Pre-order

The blu-ray of the this year's film Chronicle is now available for preorder. In a fairly quick theatrical to blu-ray trip, it will be released on May 15th, 2012.

More info—
Blu-ray.com: Chronicle Blu-ray
IMDb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1706593/

Although I had some issues with the film, mostly with a couple plot points and the climax in the third act, I found this to be, overall, quite enjoyable and look forward to adding it to my collection. A strong showing for director Josh Trank's first feature.

I can't wait to reexperience the flying sequence when this comes out. To me, this threw down the gauntlet in the super hero genre for 2012 and I anxiously await to see where writer Max Landis goes with the sequel.

One of the first favorites of mine this year.

The flying sequence was created in such a way feels very realistic, the way the characters response to the joy of flying is priceless. We can almost feel that we're flying with them, the best found footage scene ever that actually enhance the experience.

Heard Max Landis already penning a sequel. I personally against any sequel, let it be as it is. Let's see if they can come out with something worthwhile.
Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen.

Day 1 purchase for sure! Chronicle has been the strongest movie so far this year and Landis knocked it out of the park with the writing.
Walk down the right back alley in Sin City, and you can find anything.

I feel the same, although
[Show spoiler]during the credits they had some flying sounds as if someone picked up the camera that was left; could it have been Andrew? I was disappointed when nothing was shown after the credits, but there was no doubt a sequel was in works when that happened, although the movie had the perfect ending if they didn't add that little bit.

One of my favorites this year, and a guaranteed day one purchase for me. Absolutely loved it, and am a complete sucker for this genre, especially when done as masterfully as this was. I thoroughly enjoyed Project X, too.

I'm almost certain I read a few weeks ago that the blu-ray was always intended to include the 10 minutes of footage initially cut for the theatrical release.

Yes. They shot it with the same PACE-CAMERON 3D camera used in Avatar if I'm not mistaken.
