21 Jump Street (2012) - June 26th Pre-order - Blu-ray Forum

Early retailer information shows that the big screen version based off the old TV series '21 Jump Street' is slated for a June 26th release. No specs or special features, but will be edited in once an official announcement hits.

Discuss opinions and expectations below.

That's a quick date for a movie that has good reviews and made over 36 million opening week. I saw it and really liked it, so picking it up then.

I'm really wanting to see it. Some of my friends were skeptical at first, but from the first trailer I knew it'd be something I'd like to watch. After hearing nothing but great things from the Tomato meter and friends and all, I'm probably going to watch this tomorrow.

4 months is the norm. This is like 3.5 months, so nothing quick really about it.

Liked it a lot. Hopefully Sony puts together a good set of special features as they did for Superbad.

I couldn't believe how funny this movie was.. the Trailer did zero justice. and i think thats a good thing when showing trailers for comedies.. tihs is a day 1 for me on BD

The 5-minute extended trailer for this that ran in front of "Project X" during its opening weekend at Regal theatres really convinced me to see this. I was apprehensible at first due to Jonah Hill overload the past couple of months between "Moneyball", "The Sitter" and this.

I'm catching this tonight and can't wait!

A movie that was released over the weekend is very unlikely for a movie studio to set a marked date, let that be from Sony.

I feel the same as you. When the movie was first announced, I was pretty skeptical, but after the first reviews started coming out, I got on board.

This is one of the best straight comedies (and probably the most quotable) that I've seen since The Hangover.

As for Bridesmaids, it was good, but I can't help but feel it was more than a bit overrated.
