Default Panny BD310 Issues with Tron 3D

Anyone else having issues with their BD310 playing 3D? Mine plays Toy Story 3D just fine, but Tron Legacy 3D won't. It appears to be cycling between 2D/3D with no display, just a black screen. My Sammy PN59D8000 keeps displaying "3D on" "3D off" on screen, every few seconds. This is what makes me think the BD310 is cycling back and forth.

I've done the firmware updates, gone thru the manual and the various settings. Even had a home theater savvy friend over and he was stumped.

Help!

have to tried to eject and then play the movie? I remember if you have the movie in and start it up. it wont play in 3d until I ejected it and then load it up again. I had that problem with the panasonic 210 model.

I have a BDP110 and Tron 3d plays flawlessly. Sorry. Have you updated the firmware on the player recently?

maybe unrelated, but sometimes it helps to disable BD live in the player.

Ah now here is something.

I had to put a memory card in the slot on the front for Crank 2. The film doesn't work unless it can put something in your RAM and I believe the 310 doesn't have enough so a memory card must be put in place. When I did this Crank 2 played perfect. Some folk have said that it is due to some kinda copy protection on the disk. Give it a try.
