Hearing about the new "alien" angle for TMNT, I feel conflicted, knowing that Kevin Eastman apparently approves of it. I just really want a movie that's more in the vein of the original 1990 version's tone; if it ain't broke, there's no need to fix it.
what are your thoughts on The Rock??

I think I only saw it once on TV, and the overall story was OK...but when I looked at the Blu-Ray on a shelf, it said, "brief nudity and a sex scene", so I put it back.

Cause you don't like that stuff in a movie? They really don't show anything really.

Why is that so much more offensive to you than the violence that a movie such as that contains? We are all 'naked' under our clothes. Sex is a normal part of many (I would even say most) adult's lives. Going around and committing acts of violence and killing people?.... not so much.

If moviefan does not want sex and or nudity on the films he watches that's his choice. Frankly it's none of our business to tell others what they should or should not watch. Live and let live.

No offense, but using the bathroom is also a part of daily human life; do you want to see all those details in a movie? I wouldn't. As for violence, most of what I watch contains largely stylized versions of it, with very little (if any) blood or gore. I believe sex has its proper place, and most filmmakers ignore that.

Let us not forget that Bay also directs for Victoria's Secret.

It depends on the movie and the context of the scene. There's a particular scene in Dumb & Dumber involving the bathroom that I found rather funny.

He knows what he's making and doesn't try to conform to what everyone wants him to be. He's like i want the hot chicks, I want people running in slow motion I want massive F'ing explosions to take out 2 city blocks.

I think as any filmmaker should, they should make the same kind of film that they would wanna see in theaters.

I think he's talking about Pina. (Nominated for an oscar, 100% on critics scores on RT with 81% positive from users, and an metascore of 83, yeah those film snobs sure know what is garbage. I guess if a film challenges you it must be film snob trash.)
