Mirror Mirror Blu-ray Review

I absolutely loved this new Snow White movie and I have some ideas for extras I would love to see on its Blu-ray release.

- Commentary with Tarsem Singh (Director), Julia Roberts (Evil Queen) and Lily Collins (beautiful Snow White)
- Making-Of Documetaries
- "I Believe In Love" music video
- Trailers
- Deleted Scenes
- Evil Queen's Social Network - Hilarious featurette from the film's official website

If there can be an extended version of the movie, I would love it to be included.

This Blu comes out today and it must be pretty bad. I do not find any reviews on it, this seems to be the only thread about the movie and only two people have posted: the starter and me.

Am I correct in my thinking that this film is a bust?

Haven't a clue to what it's like but I purchased anyway.

BB had it for $22.99, Target for 19.99. BB matched the price along with a $5.00 point card making the cost $14.99.

For that price, I will take a chance.

I bought this at Best Buy for about $32.00 wayy to expensive. I like the holographic card that it brings, you can stick it on front of the case as a different cover. The movie was ok, it has a few fun parts. The ending I think couldve been better. Julia Roberts was great as the evil queen

Why on earth would you pay $32 for this?

Or any regular movie? Makes no sense as the retail shouldnt exceed $23 unless you meant to type that?

either way, this wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I might pick it up when its $10 or less on Black friday

The MSRP is $29.99, so he probably paid around $32 after tax.

I saw it today at a discount theater. After lunch, I went to Target and got a copy.

I watched this today and really liked it. Very beautiful film visually, what else do you expect from a Tarsem film. I liked this better than the other two films of his I have (Immortals and The Fall). Good story / twist on Snow White. The dwarfs were great and as mentioned in the review reminded me a litle of Time Bandits. Glad I picked this up.

Yeah, his movies are always visually spectacular, but I just couldn't get into either The Cell or The Fall. I skipped Immortals.

I also blind-bought this movie and ended up really enjoying it. The beautiful set design, astonishing costumes, and generally light-hearted tone won me over.

As has been said before, the comedy is hit-or-miss, but none of the missed jokes really flopped hard enough to annoy.

I read on another board that the "enclosed" sets make this film seem kinda like a filmed stage play, and I would agree. I really liked it, though, and I felt that it came across as a live-action storybook.

I have to agree with your signature line in reference to Lily Collins - I liked her as Snow White and think she is quite beautiful as well.
