I just bought The Darkest Hour from Wal*Mart but It's not listed here or anywhere else.
It's a 3D/2D set and BOTH are on the same disk.
It cost $22.99

it's on sale everywhere, not sure what you mean by a walmart exclusive? or are you referring to the one at walmart has the 2D&3D on one disc?

And everywhere else i've seen it, the 2D and the 3D are separate releases

Wow, you would think it would be even less since it's only one disc, the regular 3D release is $19.99 right now on Amazon

Edit: Wait a minute, isn't the regular release only 1 disc too?

here is a quote from the blu-ray.com review:

"Note that the review 3D/2D hybrid disc sampled would only output a 3D signal, even when selecting the 2D menu option. Only connecting to a 2D-only source yielded a 2D transfer. This was confirmed via both a Panasonic standalone unit and a PlayStation 3."

this is not sounding like a good idea already!

N/m... the wording confused me for a second...
I have NO 3D devices so I'll only see 2D... i'm all good...

I Purchased my 3D version at TARGET and it had two disc's in it,
one was the 3D blu-ray and the other disc was the blu-ray,and it says on the top of the slipcase that both were on one disc. So i don't know whats going on with the package but i'm happy with two separate disc's.

I looked everywhere here in Canada and Entertainment One the company wich released the Blu-ray here never released a Blu-ray 3D version. I had to order it from US in order to get a 3D copy of this movie.

A very bad company policy. Are we going to stugle now to find out what has been release in 3D in wich country? All the 3D movies that have been released in 3D in theatre should be release in Blu-ray 3D automaticly. Even if the reason is they didn't make good in theater, home version has sometime show that a movie can be succesful again Dune from Universal Picture was one of those a monumental flop in theater but a succes in home video.
