Now, how can I see whether or not my collection was also restored?
Because I'm not sure if the restoration also means that added titles are also put back into the right category.
For example, I might have added one title to a list before "the 7 weeks", but during that time I might have moved it to a different list.
Would this also be restored or is it purely about whether or not titles are in a collection period (no matter what list/category/whatever)?

That sucks. I was wondering what was going on. I have been sending the webmaster emails for a week now after being unable to log into my account and unable to reset the password. I never received a response to any of my inquiries. Today I tried to register the exact same name and email I already had been using for over a month and it let me reregister it again. All my movies and TV are gone. I had over 1000 titles and price tracking, wish list, ordered, owned, etc. How did my account get deleted, and why do you guys not respond to email about issues related to accounts not being accessible or able to reset passwords. I wasted a lot of time entering those movies into your system so I could access it through the iPhone app and online to only have everything gone. Absolutely terrible!

Sorry, that is my bad. I just kept trying to login thinking it was something that was wrong with my account and couldn't figure out why no one was responding to the issue. I see now that they have their hands full.

Well sorting my collection by recently added shows the last Blu-Rays I had added but the number is still way off. Have not refreshed the iOS app which is at 1677 while this is at 1643 still which is what it was at when the first first came back online. PS3 collection is still totally off and DVD collection is totally gone that I had started to finally do. But not sure if DVD and PS3 are supposed to be part of the restore.

EDIT: Nevermind adding a new title updates the number of Blu-Rays. So just the DVD and PS3. Were they supposed to be part of the restore? Just don't want to re-add anything if I don't need to

According to a post in the comments section of the Database Loss news article, Marwin had this to say about the DVD database. So it looks like the DVD Collections may be restored, in the future, assuming they can get that one missing file.

Yeah, I realized I made a typo shortly after typing up that post. I was like, I didn't actually mistype Marwin's username did I, uhh yeah I actual did. Ahh what's the difference, v, w, they're next to each other in the alphabet. Small details aren't really that important, right?

Well, I guess my collection was "restored"...adding about 25 sku's I no longer have . I had to go through my entire collection...again...and delete all the added items.

Hopefully we're all done screwing with the collection database.

My BD collection went from 690 to:

>> My Blu-ray collection (775 movies, 36 TV seasons, 745 SKUs)

But last watched still says:
>> Last watched: Feast (Apr 12, 2012)

And the entered watched days / reviews are still gone on the watched titles after Apr.12.

Some titles i received and added to categories are back on the "ordered" list.



So improving slowly...

Still i think its safest to not touch anything

I'm not 100% sure, but I think most if not all of my stuff is back in my collection too.
I'm pretty sure earlier today there was a lot less...

My collection was restored. I went through it vs my copy/pasted back up from b4 the crash & only had to delete one title I had sold. I do notice that the total next to my name on the right menu home page is wrong but total is correct once I click to view my collection. I'm sure this will be fixed soon.
Now to figure out which new titles I bought since the crash to add.

I recommend to everyone that you copy/paste onto a word or pages document your complete collection as your own backup. Doesn't take that long.

BTW, anyone notice the Android app does not count titles the same as the web site? Even after you update. I went through one by one & all the titles match but on web site says 510 & the app says 517. Not sure which is correct. Possibly has to do with some SKUs having more than a single movie?

Now totals seem fixed. The total in the right side menu says 517, same as the app. When I click on my collection still says 510 but that is movies & plus 7 TV seasons = 517. So, all seems correct.

BTW, is there a separate thread for the Android app?

Ooh i noticed now the item "recovered" on the "my BDs" !!!
I checked the titles i have watched and the watched dates are there !!!

But it is still missing for, for example the Star Trek's movies 1 to 6, those are not on the recovered list. Maybe is not the data changed from the exisiting titles ?

Also i thought i had reviewed for example "Hotel Desire" or "Amsterdam Heavy".
The title says : User reviews (1)
But when you click on it: No user reviews, be the first to post one!

"Hotel Desire" and "Amsterdam Heavy" are titles on the recovered list.

We have unfortunately not received any emails(?) but most likely you should get your collection back in a few days max. The reason for delay is that it takes some work to map old users to new.

My BD collection has just gone up by about 400 titles on the site, items I have never owned...

I'm having to go through and delete most of my collection now...
