I've never seen this, but with that cast it looks like it'll be worth a blind buy.

I'm sure it's not the first, but this is the first I've seen where Universal have skipped the top menu and gone straight to the movie (after the many warnings etc) with only a pop menu for the setup and extras.

Watched today, always found this film hilarious, but yeah, it's not for people who hate fart jokes etc. Wasn't too impressed with the PQ to be honest, though audio is great. But being a Universal catalog release I already had low expectations.
2900 BDs and counting.

Me too. I liked it when it first came out, but this is one of those movies I feel like I've outgrown.

Slow-moving catalog titles like this one are often shipped freight mail and unless they are shipped out weeks in advance, will often not show up at stores like Target or Best Buy for a couple of weeks after release date.

So THAT'S why that happens. Suddenly it makes sense why I can't find X release on the announced release date.

Ever since Anderson took over BB's media department, the usual situation is if they don't carry a catalog on release day, they don't carry it at all.

Got Mine this week in store at Hastings as well. Id have to agree that its not aging gracefully. But for me its one of those movies that became a "quote language" with friends in college. Owning a copy again just takes me back (specially since the copy I had before was a VHS screener, borrowed some 10 years ago by one of those friends and never returned to me
The biggest thing that got me today watching it was noticing for the first time that the leader of "The Frat Boys" was Michael "F@#$ing" Bay. "Dude, can we bring the Brewski's?"
