The first version wasn't totally awful. Just a typical early Blu-Ray example of not really showing what a HD quality picture could be. And it did lack lossless sound.

Artisan had some really cool collectible packaging going for a while there!

I love the Extreme Edition, one of the first early metal cover purchases that got me interested in fancier packaging. I still love my Stargate release with the simple cover art...

This. Actually, I dunno now, just found out the Underworld guy is doing the remake, and I hate all of those movies.

I remember the controversy surrounding that release.
Arnold wanting money for doing the commentary. Someone saying no, someone saying yes. People on the internet belittleing him for wanting more money just for talking, others agreeing with him...

I don't remember the outcome though

I'll only jump on board with this if the PQ and AQ are a significant upgrade over the UK version I already own.

Having watched this too many times to count on VHS the blu I own looks very good to me.
