I never saw "High Fidelity", but "Grosse Point Blank" had some funny moments (way too much language though).

Debbie: "You're a psychopath."
Martin: "No, no! A psychopath kills for no reason! I kill for money, it's a job...that didn't sound right."

Finally, thank god, High Fidelity's on of my Top 5 All-Time Films. Glad to see they're sticking with the classy original cover art too. Now hopefully I get to pop it in without having to skip through previews from 12 years ago!

edit: Also glad to see this isn't a double movie pack.

Love High Fidelity and will be picking this up. I was hoping it would make it to Blu some day. Haven't seen Grosse Point Blank though, is it worth a blind buy?

i think it's one of John Cusack's more entertaining characters... and w/ a supporting cast that includes Minnie Driver, Jeremy Piven, Joan Cusack & Dan Aykroyd, you really can't go wrong...

I'll be getting High Fidelity on Day1 but, I'll probably wait for GPB to drop to $7.99. I watched it a few months ago on HDnet and still enjoyed it. Popcorn!

I waited years for a better version of Grosse Pointe Blank. I am so happy for the release of these, I can't even tell you how much.

Seeing it in HD may bump it on to my top films too, okay it pretty much is. Who else would love to see The Sure thing on blu?

I love both of these movies. Day one for sure. High Fidelity would have been so much better though with a better main love interest for John Cusack. The girl that he pines for the whole movie is ugly, annoying and has total man voice. Nearly ruins the whole movie. :/ For me anyways,

I wouldn't mind seeing all of 80's films on Blu, like The Sure Thing, One Crazy Summer, and some newer ones like Pushing Tin(with a proper anamorphic 2.35:1, unlike the DVD release).

might have something to do w/ the whole "love is blind" idea... would have seemed too cliche if he just chased after the absolute hottest woman...

I just noticed Blu-ray.com has two listings for High Fidelity. There is an R-rated and an M-rated. What does that mean? Is it the same movie? It has the same description but slightly different release date.
